The founder

Tagoross CoP was founded by AgustĂ­n Benito Bethencourt (toscalix), back in June 2026.

Toscalix is an independent consultant who help organizations to increase business impact by using open-source-as-strategy. His career spans more than 25 years at the intersection of open source and business, leading teams and holding executive, managerial, and consulting roles across different market segments in market leading organizations.

A long-time open source contributor, a regular speaker at industry events, and the author of the toscalix blog, AgustĂ­n founded Tagoross to build what his own career taught him was missing: a vendor-independent environment where he can support those leaders pushing open source within their organziations from a reactive risk management topic to a proactive strategic one, with greater business impact.
